OVER A DECADE OF DIGITAL BANKING AND A YEAR OF A NEW BRAND
Serbia’s first digital bank celebrates one year under its new brand and mobile application with more than 500,000 active customers, over 350,000 customers who have installed the new Yettel Bank mobile application, and more than 135,000 opened Bank MAX accounts. These remarkable results prove that it is possible to build banking the way it should be – digital, simple, transparent, truly designed for people.
“A year ago, we took the first step toward a bold transformation of banking, not just for our customers, but for the broader public. Today, we have over 500,000 customers with at least one active banking product, more than 120,000 issued DinaCard Yettel Bank cards, a 40% increase in salary receivers, nearly 70% growth in our credit portfolio, and a 40% rise in sight deposits. We are proud of these achievements, but this is only the beginning. Ahead of us lie years of stability and organic growth, with a focus on introducing new features and products,” said Aleksandar Bogdanović, President of Executive Committee of Yettel Bank.
Alongside its commitment to innovation, the bank’s success is reflected in its customer experience: an average app rating of 4.8 on Google Play and 4.7 on the Apple Store, the implementation of Liveness technology, the creation of the unique Bank MAX account, which offers banking without numerous fees, available with salary transfer or even by performing transactions in a defined amount using Yettel Bank cards. The paradigm can be changed, customers can access all banking services safely through the app, with no fine print, no hidden costs and with an effective interest rate equal to the nominal one – which is why Yettel Bank is now among the top three banks customers consider when opening a new account [1].
A year of successful business marked by a one-million-dinar donation to a Children’s Shelter
A focus on humanity is also a core value of the bank, reflected in the way it is marking its first anniversary. Symbolically, to mark its first anniversary, the bank is donating one million dinars to renovate the Shelter in New Belgrade, operated by the Center for Youth Integration, which also includes the shelter in Krfska Street. This donation will help create a safer and more dignified environment for children who rely on the shelter every day.
A year ago, Yettel Bank was introduced as a bank people would love. Today, thanks to its results, services, and values, such a bank is becoming a reality.
